Benefits
Kefir contains beneficial bacteria and yeasts that may support gut health. Lower lactose than milk, so easier to digest.
Risks
Sweetened or fruit-flavored kefir contains added sugar (and sometimes xylitol). Some pets are still lactose-intolerant.
