Risks

Contains N-propyl disulfide which causes hemolytic anemia. Cats are especially sensitive.

Lethargy, weakness, pale gums, red-tinged urine, rapid breathing, collapse.

Any onion ingestion warrants a vet call, especially for cats or small dogs. Onion powder in prepared foods counts.
