Pricing a stud fee correctly is one of the harder decisions in ethical breeding. Undercharge and you devalue your stud's line; overcharge and quality bitches go elsewhere. This calculator uses the industry-standard formula — average puppy price × stud quality multiplier — to suggest a fair cash fee, and compares it to a pick-of-litter arrangement. Pet-quality males typically fetch 40% of one puppy price, titled dogs 100%, champions 150%, and proven top producers with imported bloodlines 200%+.
