How it works

We calculate water volume using the veterinary standard: 10 US gallons of water per inch of Straight Carapace Length (SCL) for the primary turtle, plus 5 gallons per inch for each additional cohabitating turtle, canister filtration flow (3.5× turnover), and dry basking dock square footage.
